At E-mergo, we believe that smart choices can make just as much impact on people, the environment, and society as technology does. Our CSR policy shows how we put that belief into practice.
Why CSR?
Corporate Social Responsibility isn't an obligation for us, but an opportunity to truly make a difference. By doing business sustainably, we contribute to a better world and make our own processes more efficient. Below are some of the initiatives we work on for a greener and more social future.
Less impact on the environment
No more plastic bottles
We don't use disposable bottles at the office. Instead, we have a water cooler, so we structurally use less plastic.
Electric driving
We encourage our team to drive electric through attractive lease options. That way we jointly lower the CO₂ emissions of our vehicle fleet.
Investing in greensand
We invest in greensand, a sustainable initiative that contributes to a healthier living environment for people and the planet.
CO₂-neutral anniversary trips
Our bike trips to Lund and Aarhus, for our 15th and 20th anniversaries, were fully organized CO₂-neutral and unforgettable.
Working digitally, less paper
By digitalizing and automating processes, we save a lot of paper and work structurally more sustainably, for ourselves and our clients.
Gas-free and energy-efficient office
Since 2024, our office has been off gas, with 104 solar panels and a heat pump. Our gas consumption dropped from 10 cubic meters to 0.
Locally involved
- Bottle deposits for charity: the money from our bottle deposits goes directly to sports club Die Haghe. A small action with a big difference.
- Sponsoring sports clubs: besides Die Haghe, we support various sports clubs and sponsor the Outdoor Valley Survival Run every year.
- Contributing ideas: our management team actively contributes ideas for new sustainable initiatives and makes sure they're actually carried out.
