E-mergo welcomes Louis de Roo as Data Strategy Leader

Louis de Roo, formerly Solution Owner Business Information at Inter IKEA Systems, joins E-mergo today as Data Strategy Leader. In this role, he will connect data with the business to extract as much value from it as possible for our clients. Themes such as Data Literacy, data-driven working and Analytics Adoption will be addressed.

From customer to supplier

Louis has been in touch with us for some time, but from the customer side. As Solution Owner Business Information at Inter IKEA Systems, he worked with us extensively on various Qlik Sense challenges and on setting up a Qlik support team for IKEA employees.

Connecting data to the business

Louis brings years of experience in retail operations. Among other things, he worked for IKEA in Finance, Logistics and Operations, after which he led the introduction of data-driven workforce planning within IKEA. In his most recent position, he was responsible for introducing IKEA's Retail Performance Dashboard, a self-service BI environment for all 200,000+ IKEA employees worldwide.

Louis will put this experience to use at E-mergo to support our clients with those challenges where implementing BI is more than a purely technical matter, or where the value of data to the business is not yet sufficiently clear.
