The result

Data quality

Using Qlik creates a single version of the truth, because all data sources and systems come together in one application. This reduces the risk of errors in the data and makes it simpler and cheaper to analyze and view. Employees get reliable insights they can trust when making decisions.

Faster reporting and adjusting

With Qlik, results versus KPIs are visible weekly, and often even daily, instead of monthly or quarterly. This keeps employees closer to the process. Because they're closer to it, it's also much easier to quickly adjust the progress of processes and projects.

Unexpected insights

With Qlik's associative data indexing engine, users can analyze data and discover relationships within it. This makes it possible, for example, to look at the relationship between order intake and hired-in staff, uncovering new insights they wouldn't otherwise have had.

Croon Elektrotechniek reduces risk with Qlik

The company runs large projects, which naturally come with large risks. Insight into management information is therefore crucial. Bram Moerer, IT Manager at Croon Elektrotechniek, explains why the company started looking for a new business intelligence solution: "Our existing package, SAP BPC, part of SAP for reporting, no longer delivered what we wanted. The functionality fell short, and management also wanted to make management information visible visually. That wish for visual insight, in particular, was the main trigger for us to look for a new solution."

  • “Seeing is believing, so we first ran a Proof of Concept for the purchasing department. It went fantastically. Within a few days, we had direct visual insight into all the relevant purchasing KPIs.”
