International Food Connectors (IFC) is an international company involved in trading frozen food products, such as meat and meat products, fries, vegetables and fish. The focus is on shipping food products from Europe to Africa and Asia. As an intermediary, IFC brings suppliers and buyers together and arranges the transport of goods in special containers.
IFC chooses Power BI
IFC considers it important to have good insight into their data. To gain this insight, they initially used the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics AX, but found it didn't fully meet their needs. They decided to combine the system with a BI tool, choosing Power BI. In their search for a partner, they found E-mergo. The collaboration got off to a great start right away, and E-mergo's way of working suited IFC well.

Improved data quality
Data quality improves because errors can easily be corrected once discovered. It's also possible to quickly fill in missing data. This allows IFC to make better decisions.
New insights
By using Power BI, IFC has gained many new insights. For example, IFC now has better visibility into its receivables position, its long/short position, and under- and over-recovery.
In control
Thanks to the accessibility of both Microsoft Dynamics AX and Power BI, IFC is much more in control. The two programs let them switch quickly whenever needed.
