IMELCO is an international cooperative in which national groups of independent electrotechnical wholesalers work together. By joining forces, they achieve financial benefits, make agreements with suppliers, and exchange knowledge and market information. IMELCO's portal plays a central role in this: members and suppliers contribute knowledge, reports and revenue figures there. But the old system no longer met their needs, causing usage to decline.
E-mergo builds future-proof member portal for IMELCO
IMELCO, a global cooperative of independent electrotechnical wholesalers, had an outdated member portal that wasn't user-friendly and lacked flexibility. As a result, members stopped using it, which made collaboration and information exchange more difficult. Together with E-mergo, a new, future-proof portal was developed based on Mendix.
