In 2020, Managing Director Markus Simons decided that Rhenus Netherlands needed to work in a more data-driven way. That meant quite a lot. There were systems for process mining, but they weren't set up coherently and therefore weren't future-proof. Moreover, the logistics sector deals with large volumes of data. In the end, they chose to partner with E-mergo.
