In 2020, Managing Director Markus Simons decided that Rhenus Netherlands needed to become more data-driven. That meant quite a lot. There were systems for process mining, but they weren't set up coherently and therefore weren't future-proof. What's more, the logistics sector deals with large volumes of data. Rhenus eventually chose to work together with E-mergo.
