SURF is a collaborative organization for IT in Dutch education and research. An important goal of SURF is to make publicly funded research accessible to everyone. To make this possible, SURF negotiates with publishers so that universities and universities of applied sciences can publish in journals and read articles. The data for these negotiations was tracked by contract managers in an Excel sheet. SURF asked E-mergo to help professionalize this SURF Journal Catalogue.
