Royal Vopak is the world's largest independent tank storage service provider. The company specializes in the storage and transshipment of liquid bulk chemicals, gases and oil products. It is also active in developing infrastructure for hydrogen, sustainable feedstocks, CO2 and flow batteries, among other things.
E-mergo develops and manages more than 50 Qlik dashboards for Vopak
Vopak's first question to E-mergo was about architecture: how does analytics software fit into Vopak's IT landscape? This was immediately followed by a request to develop a proof of concept (POC) for the first Qlik Sense dashboard. It was received with enthusiasm by Vopak, after which E-mergo was able to further develop it and bring it into production. "That first dashboard acted as a flywheel for what followed," recalls Edwin van Pelt, Global IT Service Delivery Manager Data & Analytics at Vopak.

A dashboard for every department
The information needs of Vopak employees are analyzed, and the dashboard is then delivered through a number of sprints using Scrum.
