Cost Management
Cloud and platform costs can rise quickly. With Cost Management from E-mergo, you get control over your Azure and platform costs and see where savings are possible. That way you avoid unnecessary spending and keep costs manageable.
Why Cost Management?
Cost Management means continuously making the costs of your cloud and data environment visible and manageable, think of Azure and Dataverse. We distinguish between reserved costs, which you pay for pre-reserved capacity, and pay-as-you-go costs, which you pay based on usage.
Cost Management isn't a one-time exercise. As your environment grows, so does the risk of waste: resources that keep running while nobody uses them, or departments adding capacity without oversight. Cost Management ensures every euro of cloud and platform cost is traceable and explainable. That way you make well-founded decisions, distribute costs fairly across departments, and stand strong in any accountability discussion.
Our approach
- 1
Step
We map out your current costs, resources, and usage, by department or project where possible.

Step
We set up a clear cost report, distinguishing between reserved and pay-as-you-go costs.
- 3
Step
We continuously monitor your costs, so anomalies and spikes stand out quickly.
- 4
Step
If we see opportunities to save, we let you know proactively.

FAQ
What's included in Cost Management?
Cost Management covers making your cloud and platform costs visible, monitoring and optimizing them, with reporting, a distinction between reserved and pay-as-you-go costs, and proactive savings advice.
Is Cost Management the same as Azure Managed Services?
No, although they overlap partly. Azure Managed Services covers the full management of your Azure environment, including a cost report. Cost Management is specifically for organizations that mainly want more control on the cost side.
Which platforms do you offer Cost Management for?
We primarily focus on Azure, and expand to other platforms where relevant, such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Power Platform.
