Qlik Sense works with an 'Associative Data Indexing Engine' that makes selected data green, associated data white, and non-associated data grey. This lets users perform analyses with visibility into all relevant data. This is an important difference from traditional business intelligence solutions, which search based on a query. With queries, the displayed data consists only of data directly related to the query. The associated data is then not visible, causing important insights to be lost.

Stay informed of changes

With Qlik Sense SaaS, it's possible to be notified when a certain threshold is exceeded. Think, for example, of a warning when the profit margin drops below target, or when new tickets are reported in the incident system. Alerts let end users set up such warnings themselves. Here too, you then receive an email or push notification with the information from the alert and a link to the dashboard. A very powerful feature that gives a huge boost to data-driven work and the adoption of your dashboards.

Automate important tasks

With Application Automation in Qlik Sense SaaS, you can use building blocks, called "Blocks," to trigger a series of actions. Think, for example, of automatically sending a message in Microsoft Teams, but also more extensive tasks such as checking accounts in Salesforce and automating tasks based on this data. For example, when accounts have the status "Champion" (a high sales-readiness score) but haven't been approached by the sales department in a while, you can automatically create a task in Salesforce and send a notification to the relevant account manager.
